On Monday, September 2, 2024, District Administrator Stephan Pusch welcomed a total of 39 new police officers to the district hall. They will all be supporting the police in the district in the coming years and will be deployed both in the guard and change service as well as in the criminal investigation departments.
Our head of police department, Dirk Melz, was also delighted to receive so much active support:
"New challenges await them every day. Approach your responsible task with the necessary sensitivity. We look forward to welcoming you to our authority!"
With the new colleagues, there are now 469 employees working for the police in the district of Heinsberg.
